about
this track chronicles a handful of the incidences of gender-specific harassment i have faced as an afab person over the years, exploring the feelings of shock and distress that accompany each individual moment before they begin to meld into an identifiable pattern over time. each new experience drags me back to the unshakable knowledge that my physical safety is always in flux, that the world i was born into was built to not protect me in those moments of vulnerability. it is an anthem foregrounding my frustration that has been born out of anger and fear, but works towards acknowledging and addressing this issue, cultivating community along the way.
